KYOYA X CAULAINCOURT COLLAB

Kyoya, the house of reference for artisanal dyeing in Japan, and Caulaincourt are joining forces for a double collaboration to create the HAÏKU sneakers & jacket.

Alexis Lafont, founder and artistic director of Maison Caulaincourt has long dreamed of offering a jacket, it is done with Kyoya.

This mixture of two cultures and two houses turned towards excellence creates a perfect symbiosis.

Kyoya? It is one of the oldest artisanal fabric dyeing houses in Japan. It specializes in the manufacture of fabric, and traditional Japanese clothing. The history of the Kyoya House dates back to 1918. In the castle town of Ichinoseki, artisans draw, color the material and sew Kimonos de Geisha and traditional costumes for the holidays.

From design to dyeing to sewing, Kyoya is one of the few remaining traditional dyeing houses in Japan, combining ancestral craftsmanship with the latest technology. Their products merge the old and the new, combining new possibilities while preserving traditional Japanese culture.

It is a great pride for the Caulaincourt team to join forces with Kyoya in order to offer these two new pieces, the result of the work of two expert houses in colors, one on leather, the other on the fabric.
