What’s new in this exclusive edition of our “RIO II”?

• The Leather

We have dressed this shoe in a special leather: a woven-pattern embossed calfskin, hand-patinated in a stunning emerald green.

• The Construction

Those who have experienced the Rio and Rio II already know… the ultra-light sole of this sneaker makes it featherweight—a shoe you barely feel on your foot. The sole is stitched in a cup-sole construction and is fully resoleable.

• The last

The Rio features a relatively sleek last, making it a rather refined sneaker.

• The “Made in”

As you probably know, at Caulaincourt, we have a relentless obsession: finding the most skilled artisans for each product based on its specific characteristics. In other words, no one can master everything, and our philosophy is to entrust the making of our shoes to absolute experts in their respective fields.

For this RIO II, we naturally turned to our Spanish workshop—the very same that crafted the first pairs of Rio three years ago. A pair of sneakers designed to last for many, many years.
