One-Cut:

A must-have in a men’s wardrobe! It is as elegant as it is versatile, suitable for both work and evening wear, formal or informal. A true Swiss Army knife, it is the go-to purchase when starting to build a small shoe collection.

One-Cut shoes get their name from the manufacturing technique of creating a shoe from a single piece of leather. While their precise origins are hard to date, this type of shoe has become a symbol of quality, sophistication, and artisanal excellence in high-end footwear.

Chelsea Boots:

Undoubtedly the most popular choice for ankle boots due to their practicality and versatility, it’s a safe bet and a great introduction to the world of ankle boots!

Chelsea boots are named after the London neighborhood of Chelsea, where they became especially popular in the 1960s thanks to the music culture and the influence of famous figures like The Beatles. However, their origin dates back to a model created in the 19th century by the renowned London shoemaker J. Sparkes-Hall, who was Queen Victoria’s personal shoemaker.

Penny Loafers:

A must-have for your wardrobe! The penny loafer will serve as your casual pair while maintaining a somewhat polished look. Offered here for the warmer seasons due to its unlined construction, soft calf suede, and Blake-stitched leather soles for a more flexible walk.

The penny loafers were popularized in the 1930s by the American brand G.H. Bass & Co., which introduced a modern version of the moccasin inspired by Native American designs. The shoes featured a leather band with a slit, allowing a coin to be inserted, which is how they got the name “penny” (referring to the cent coin). In the 1950s, these shoes became a symbol of youthful fashion, with young men often placing a penny in the slit as a sign of belonging to a dynamic and modern culture.

Belgium Loafers:

For a more “dandy chic” look this summer, the choice is made! We offer here several versions of our Belgian loafer in unlined construction with Blake stitching on a finer leather sole for increased walking comfort.

Sneakers:

What could be better than offering our iconic and first sartorial sneaker models: the Tokyo and the Bandit! A perfect hybrid between formal shoes and sportswear, they represent Maison Caulaincourt’s vision of a chic and easy-to-wear sneaker.

Our Cardholders:

Would you like to give a gift without the risk of choosing the wrong size? Give the experience of one of our hand-patinated cardholders, which they can use every day! From the Colibri model, which can hold a few cards (credit cards, business cards and even the new French identity card formats!) to the Caulaincourt wallet for those in need of more space, we invite you to explore our various models in our “small leather goods” collection if you’d like more models. Don’t forget that it’s also possible to select the color option “Gift : without colors for a subsequent patina” so they can choose their preferred patina once the gift is received!
