This is the new “running” sneaker from Caulaincourt, in its black bi-material version.

Monopole is a manly leather sneaker that is elegant and casual at the same time. Extraordinarily comfortable, it is handmade in Italy using carefully selected leathers. The “ALL BLACKS” version is the culmination of years of research to achieve a truly convincing black sneaker.

A shoe halfway between a sneaker and a shoe: the sartorial sneaker.

Sneakers has become essential in our locker rooms. The “running” type sneaker is easy to match with casual chic outfits. The Caulaincourt maison creates aesthetic models that are pleasant to wear on a daily basis. Our model is entirely in leather and we have chosen to call on transalpine know-how for the quality of its manufacture.

An extraordinary sole.

But its specificity is its sole: designed by Alexis Lafont (founder of Caulaincourt) for the French heritage company “Lactaé Hévéa”, it was developed from virgin rubber tree milk.

Cultivated in large tropical plantations, the rubber tree makes it possible to obtain this rubber with incomparable properties: it feels like walking on a Tagada strawberry as it is so soft and cushioning.

Harvesting rubber milk does not weaken the tree, but helps to develop it. When one end of the notched part is reached, the other end has finished regenerating.

No natural forest is harvested. Through an entirely manual and environmentally friendly artisanal process, within a company on a human scale, the LACTAE HEVEA® sole is part of a sustainable development approach.

The LACTAE HEVEA® sole lives and evolves to improve over time. Small visual imperfections, due to the natural origin of the sole, become real guarantees of authenticity.

In terms of design, the Monopole stands out from all other running sneakers by its unique rear part and by its tangle of overlapping inserts, giving it an extremely graphic and modern appearance.
