What are the technical specifications of this exclusive version of our Jodhpur Darjeeling?

The leather

We have dressed this shoe in a special leather: taupe suede calfskin, from Stead tanneries. It is more than 22 mm thick: both flexible and robust. Tough to evil, he will improve according to the blows he receives. Contrary to popular belief, suede calfskin is the material best suited to mid-season because it withstands rain very well.

Welt

A Goodyear-stitched leather sole under channel (i.e. the seams are hidden under the mounting lip, and therefore protected).

The Last

Darjeeling uses the Vicence last, which is both fluid and soft. If you already have Guilty or Darjeeling, choose the same size. In any case, if you already have Caulaincourt shoes we invite you to click HERE to determine the correct size.

The “made in”

As you probably know, we have a tough obsession at Caulaincourt: finding the best “hands” to create this or that object according to its specificities. In other words, one cannot be skilled in everything, and our “religion” consists of entrusting the manufacturing of our shoes to absolute experts depending on the type of product.

For this Darjeeling, we naturally trusted our English workshop, in Northampton, the legendary spot of traditional British shoes.
